If I'm being entirely honest, not that much has happened so far this year. I haven't been to many places in 2018, instead spending my weekends at work waitressing and revising. However, as we're now 7 months (?!?!) in to 2018 and I haven't posted on here for a while, I thought I would write a post with a few of things that have been happening - or what I can think of off the top of my head.  NOTE: You might want to skim read this, I've rambled quite a bit   January  The year kicked off with trial exams as soon as we returned to school so I ended up spending all but one day of the Christmas holidays revising. I am glad that I did the revision that I did as not only did it help me enormously in the trial exams, but by the time I came to revise for my final exams, I didn't have to start from scratch with revision resources as I had re-read some of my Literature books, made revision cards and refreshed the content from the previous year. About a year ago I did a speech as part of my GCSE English course. It was about misandry (hating men) and how misandry was often labelled with the brand 'feminism' therefore leading to a negative view (and general misinterpretation) of feminism in the eyes of many; consequently making a laughing stock of anybody that was bold enough to call themselves a 'feminist'.  The fact of the matter is that feminism is as much for men as it is for women, regardless of what 'Tumblr feminists' might tell you. Feminism means equality and making women equal to men is by definition the same as making men equal to women. So frankly you could call it meninism if you really wanted but that might be a little silly. I know many have said "well I want equality but I'm not a feminist" (Kim Kardashian I'm looking at you) and obviously if that's not something you want to call yourself that's perfectly fine. This is not a misandristic hate article. Don't mistake it because I know some people on the Internet are idiots and will. Men and women are equal and therefore neither is the 'better' gender.  Today something quite distressing happened. I had my first day of no school work/work work for a while and decided to brave Christmas shopping and finally got to see the new Hunger Games film with the lovely Amy (who you've seen on my YouTube channel in a couple of videos). That wasn't distressing, although my feet are quite sore. No, the incident happened on the way back home on the 20 minute train journey when 4 (hopefully drunk) middle aged men (by which I am assuming that the average lifespan is around 100-120 years) decided it was their duty to begin a delightful conversation, beginning with a loud, slurred "ave you ad a good day girls?
